Danasyariah Holds a Retirement Seminar in Semarang, Helping Retirees Manage Their Funds Wisely

Jakarta – PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah) organized a seminar titled "Peaceful Retirement: Stay Empowered, Productive, and Manage Your Funds Wisely" at Grasia Convention Hotel, Semarang, on Tuesday (11/3). The event aimed to provide financial education to retirees and prospective retirees, enabling them to manage their funds wisely, productively, and sustainably.

The seminar was attended by approximately 30 invited participants, comprising employees from various companies in Semarang who are preparing for retirement. The participants gained insights into retirement fund management strategies, opportunities to optimize funds through sharia-compliant investments, and ways to maintain productivity during retirement.

The keynote speaker was Salihuddin, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) with over 15 years of experience in financial and retirement planning. In his presentation, Salihuddin divided the seminar into two main sessions.

The first session covered Fundamental Retirement Activity, where participants were introduced to the mindset of a prosperous retirement, self-potential recognition, post-retirement activity planning, and tips for maintaining productivity in retirement.

The second session focused on Post-Retirement Financial Planning, discussing the financial roadmap for retirees, asset management, cash flow strategies to avoid the risk of fund depletion, and an introduction to sharia-compliant financial products as safe investment options.

In addition to financial planning, the seminar also featured Salman Alfarisie, Sales & Marketing Strategic Manager of Danasyariah, who introduced the concept of sharia-based funding through fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) financing.
