PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting national sharia financial literacy and inclusion by participating in the Syariah Financial Fair (SYAFIF) “Goes to Palembang”, organized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in collaboration with Sharia Financial Service Providers (PUJK Syariah). The event was held at the Main Atrium of Palembang Indah Mall (PIM) for three days, from May 16 to 18, 2025.
Danasyariah stood out as the only sharia peer-to-peer (P2P) financing fintech platform to take part in this event. Represented by Marcomm Manager, Maheso Jenar, Danasyariah participated in a presentation session and an educational talk show alongside other PUJK Syariah representatives and the Indonesian Fintech Lending Association (AFPI).
In addition to the talk show, Danasyariah also set up a booth to engage with visitors and members of the public seeking detailed information about its financing schemes, funding opportunities, and the registration process for its services. On this occasion, several lenders from Palembang—both long-time partners and new ones—were also present to show their support.
SYAFIF is one of OJK’s flagship programs held in five cities throughout the year, with Palembang being the second host city following its initial run elsewhere. The program is a collaboration between OJK and the Organizing Committee for the Orchestration of Sharia Financial Literacy and Inclusion Programs (OC LIKS), which was established in January 2025.
The event was officially opened by Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Chief Executive of the Supervision of Financial Services Business Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection at OJK. Also attending the opening were Dr. Ratu Tenny Leriva, Member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD)/People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) from South Sumatra and Literacy Ambassador of South Sumatra, Arifin Susanto, Head of OJK South Sumatra Province, and M. Ismail Riyadi, Acting Head of the Department of Literacy, Financial Inclusion, and Communication at OJK.
Through its participation, Danasyariah hopes to continue playing an active role in fostering an inclusive sharia financial ecosystem and delivering tangible benefits to communities across Indonesia.
