Jakarta — PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting Islamic financial literacy and education. This time, Danasyariah took part as a speaker in the AFSI Goes to Campus event, organized by the Indonesian Sharia Fintech Association (AFSI) in collaboration with the Islamic Economics Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).
The webinar, themed “The Development of Sharia P2P Financing Business Models in Indonesia,” was held virtually via Zoom Meeting on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 08:30 to 11:00 WIB. The event was open to the public and attended by over 100 participants, including academics, industry practitioners, lecturers, and students.
Danasyariah was represented by M. Salman Alfarisie, Head of Strategic Sales and Marketing Division. In his presentation, Salman shared in-depth insights on sharia-based peer-to-peer (P2P) fintech business practices, innovative financing models, as well as the challenges and opportunities currently facing the sharia fintech industry. His session was delivered through real case studies implemented directly by Danasyariah in the field.
The event also featured several notable figures, including Dr. Rahmad Hakim, M.MA (Head of the Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies UMM), Dr. Muhamad Ismail (Vice Chairman of AFSI), who delivered the opening remarks and served as keynote speaker, and Sri Cahyani Umi Salama, S.E.I., M.Si (Lecturer at the Islamic Economics Study Program, UMM) as a fellow speaker.
Danasyariah’s participation in this academic forum further strengthens its role as a key player in the sharia fintech sector, actively promoting financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia, particularly through collaborations with higher education institutions.
