Jakarta – The Ministry of SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Deputy for Small Enterprises, held the peak of the Bisnis Layak Funding (BISLAF) in the form of an Intimate Business Matching at Bigland Hotel Bogor on Thursday (Sept 11). This initiative serves as a strategic effort by the government to strengthen the role of SMEs in the national program to build 3 million housing units, as instructed by President Prabowo Subianto.
SMEs are encouraged to contribute as suppliers of raw materials, contractors, housing technology applicators, and providers of infrastructure services. However, one of the main challenges faced by this sector is limited access to financing. To address this, the BISLAF forum brought together various financial institutions, both banking and non-banking, to open wider funding opportunities for SMEs.
The event connected 16 small and medium enterprises in the housing sector directly with investors and financial institutions through pitching sessions and one-on-one speed dating meetings. Among the participating institutions were Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), Shafiq, LBS Urun Dana, and PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah).
Danasyariah’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to expanding access to financing for SMEs, particularly those engaged in the housing sector. Through this forum, Danasyariah provided insights and opportunities for SMEs to grow their businesses with financing solutions that align with Sharia principles.
The forum is expected to bridge the gap between SMEs’ capital needs and relevant funding support, thereby fostering the growth of small and medium enterprises while strengthening a more inclusive and sustainable national housing ecosystem.
